Disciple Fast Track III
Remember Who You Are
Newly revised, expanded, and updated
This Disciple Fast Track: Remember Who You Are is an adaptation of the original, bestselling Disciple Bible Study: Remember Who You Are. The study retains the familiar Disciple format with its Theme word, Theme verse, Daily Psalm, statement of The Human Condition, Mark of the Obedient Community, daily assignments, and prayer. In addition, there is a special teaching and emphasis on Breath Prayer and The Daily Examen, or Daily Review.
Now this curriculum has been revised, expanded and updated from the Fast Track Version and is accessible on your smart phone, tablet, or computer on the state-of-the-art BeADisciple App.
The content of the study focuses on the Prophets and the Letters of Paul. Daily reading assignments are designed to establish the historical context and the message of the Prophets and of Paul and then help readers today apply these teachings to their own lives. Participants will find common themes, including calls to remember, calls to repent, calls for renewal, and calls for community in both Testaments.
Small groups meet for one orientation meeting and then 24 weekly meetings, spending 12 sessions in the Old Testament learning the Major and Minor Prophets (except Daniel), and 12 sessions in the New Testament studying the letters traditionally attributed to Paul.
Participants need to commit to the following:
- Attend (virtually or in person) one orientation with your group before the study begins.
- Spend about 30 minutes in daily reading and prayer (in both text and audio formats) five days a week.
- Watch a five-minute weekly video commentary from a prominent biblical scholar.
- Participate in one weekly group discussion thread.
- Attend (virtually or in person) a weekly 90-minute meeting with your group of six to 16.
(NOTE: It is highly recommended that you complete Disciple Fast Track I as a prerequisite to this study.)
