Disciple Fast Track I
Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study
Newly revised, expanded, and updated
Disciple I Fast Track: Becoming Disciples Through Bible Study adapted for the BeADisciple Study App is a 24-week survey of the entire Bible. For the first 12 weeks, you’ll make your way through the Old Testament, beginning with Creation in Genesis and moving on to the stories of the patriarchs, Moses, the prophets and kings, as well as the wisdom literature. The next 12 weeks cover the New Testament: the life of Christ, the stories of the first disciples and the early church, the letters of Paul, and the mysteries of Revelation. By study’s end, you will have read about 60 percent of the Bible.
This study requires no previous knowledge of the Bible to participate. You simply commit to:
- About 30-45 minutes of daily reading (in both text and audio formats) five days a week.
- Watching a weekly video commentary from a prominent biblical scholar.
- Participating in group discussion threads.
- Attending (virtually or in person) a weekly 75-minute meeting with your group of six to 16.
- Attending (virtually or in person) one orientation with your group before the study begins.
You can expect to develop deep friendships with your group as you grow in your faith.
This version of Disciple Fast Track I has been adapted from the internationally renowned DISCIPLE Bible Study series, and it is all contained on the state-of-the-art BeADisciple App. The curriculum has been revised, expanded and updated from the original, and it’s accessible on your smart phone, tablet, or computer.
