Expand your church's toolkit
for small-group studies

We provide infrastructure to host your church's small groups in a digital space

Fall is a great time to launch small groups in your church, and the BeADisciple Study App makes it easier than ever for study leaders in your church to form groups.

What is the BeADisciple Study App?

Developed by the Bishop Richard and Julia Wilke Institute for Discipleship in consultation with the United Methodist Publishing House, the BeADisciple Study App brings small groups online in a powerful new way.

Your church’s own group leaders and congregation members sign up together in small groups of 6–16 and meet in their own private, virtual space to 1) study books or curriculum, 2) pray, and 3) meet together weekly or on the schedule you or the group chooses.

Everything a small study group needs is on the app

Everything! All study materials, including videos and daily assignments in both text and audio formats, the full CEB Bible, and one-tap Zoom access (so you don’t need your own Zoom account!). Leaders get access to leader training and weekly leader guides and group promotional materials to recruit their own participants.

No more ordering materials, collecting money, buying Zoom licenses, creating rosters, or scheduling rooms. People can participate from anywhere, making this a great way to reach members who can’t attend in-person groups.

Suggested Studies

You can browse all studies in our growing library. Here we’re highlighting two:

Henri Nouwen – Following Jesus: Finding Home in an Age of Anxiety

We are thrilled to partner with the Henri Nouwen Society to introduce the first of several Henri Nouwen studies on the BeADisciple Study App. Following Jesus: Finding Home in an Age of Anxiety is a six-week study featuring daily prayer practices and personal videos of Henri Nouwen himself. It’s a beautiful option for groups looking for something spiritually deep, authentic, and warmly inviting.

From Genesis to Revelation in 24 weeks

Disciple Fast Track I is a 24-week Bible study that laity can lead with confidence. Participants study the Bible from Genesis to Revelation. Over 3 million United Methodists have completed this course, and the app offers the newest, most enhanced version.
